I grew up reading all sort of comics - mostly regional - Tinkle, Amar Chitra Katha, Parag, Champak, Lotpot, Chacha Chowdhary, Madhu Muskan. After coming to Mumbai I met Peanuts, Calvin n Hobbs, Asterix, Archies, Tintin, Hi and Lois AND I felt at home in Mumbai !
Charlie Brown became a friend, Tintin a hero, started going to PopTates with Archies and friends, always hated him when he chose Veronica over Betty, hid when Calvin broke his Dad's binocular, and feasts in Gaul where Asterix lives, has always left me hungry!

So making cartoon strips was the most natural thing that happened to me ! And talented people around me in Rhythm n Hues inspired me to make a blog.

Once i visited a friend's house, and i saw a kite on her Drawing room's wall. I thought It looked sad !! So my first story "I want my sky back" is about this kite. Also, kite personifies me - It is not kite, It is Me !
